Steve has practiced tax law in Houston for over 30 years and is sought after to speak on partnership tax, international tax, and oil and gas tax. He also regularly advises clients on business formations and buying and selling businesses. Steve has been an adjunct professor at South Texas College of Law, teaching corporate tax and partnership tax. He has lectured on tax law before the ABA Section of Taxation, the State Bar of Texas, and the Texas Society of CPAs. He is a former director of the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs and is a past Chair of the Energy and Environmental Tax Committee of the ABA Section of Taxation.
