Eric’s primary focus is as a trial lawyer representing plaintiffs and defendants in business disputes in state and federal courts including breach of contract cases.  Eric additionally works with clients on all litigation aspects of their business bankruptcy issues. Eric also works with clients on various types of transactional matters to help navigate the legal and practical complexities of operating a business.

Prior to joining the firm, Eric practiced as a litigation attorney garnering experience in insurance defense, construction defect, commercial insurance, transportation, real estate, and a variety of other legal disputes.

Prior to attending law school, Eric attended the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with his degree in pre-law and political science and a minor in business. During law school, Eric clerked for the Office of the Attorney General where he primarily worked on consumer protection cases. Eric was selected to attend his school’s international study abroad program where he spent a summer in Beijing, China studying International Business Law, IP Law, and International Alternative Dispute Resolution. Eric also served as a staff writer on his law school’s law review: The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race & Social Justice. Eric was a joint degree student during his law school career, studying to earn his Master of Business Administration concurrently with his law degree.
